Kyle West
Creator, Executive Producer

A keen script writer, Kyle has recently found many opportunities to direct his own work. He has several short films to his name (short being the key word), and plans to move onto another more lengthy film project once he can assemble the team he wants. A theatre performer for nearly a decade, Kyle has performed professionally (and was nicely paid) and worked with film director Peter Greenaway. One show he did earned he and his fellow cast a great review in a local newspaper, despite the show not playing to very large audiences. In early 2007 he landed himself a several week-long work placement doing theatre administration with a professional company.

Kyle is currently taking a break from his attempts to break into the film industry, figuring that he's been doing this kind of work for over a decade now and deserves a break from it. When he isn't working to pay his rent, he's spending his free time with his fiancé, who he will be marrying in March 2009. His DVD collection is one of the most prized possessions in his life, as is his TV; without both of these things, he wouldn't be as obsessed with writing, directing and performing as he is today.

Darrell Schielke
Script Consultant

Schielke first entered the world of Star Trek fan fiction after working on a Star Trek/Star Wars crossover with a friend. He soon discovered that he had countless ideas that all fitted into the Star Trek universe, and it wasn't long before he was snapped up to write scripts for Star Trek: Legacy.

Adapting to the screenplay format was difficult for Schielke, as his previous work had all been prose. This hasn't led to his script work being any less descriptive though, with several readers of his work commenting on how rich in detail some of his script pages have been.

He basically stumbled across Star Trek: Knight's Haven, which was at the time still a very new project. After reading one or two scripts, he found that he had his own idea for a Knight's Haven episode, and soon found that he couldn't keep it to himself for much longer. This led to him sending a pitch to Kyle West, and not long after that Schielke was brought onto the creative team as a Script Consultant. Everything after that is, as they say, history.

Schielke is currently working on several projects beyond Knight's Haven, and is a provisional member of the Star Trek: The Atlantis Chronicles staff should it go to full-series.

Elliot Toman
Artist

Elliot Toman grew up reading a lot of comic books and drawing a lot of superheroes, until his early teens when he was crippled by a tragic battle with Manga. Having since recovered some of his faculties, he now works in media, handling such varied projects as graphic design, video production, illustration, and web design—which is his primary vocation. Elliot was introduced to Star Trek through The Next Generation as a child, and his interest was rekindled later on when he discovered Trek-based play-by-email games, of which he has played many and initiated several. His love for complex plots and emotionally troubled characters has, unfortunately, doomed them all.

Elliot lives in Poughkeepsie with his beautiful and exceedingly understanding wife, and two children who are really rather good, though the elder consistently gets "Star Trek" and "Shrek" confused.

Pheobe Davies
Editor

Phoebe first became interested in Trek after watching Star Trek: Enterprise on DVD with her boyfriend. Although she has since sampled every other Trek show, none of them have interested her enough to keep watching.

Star Trek: Knight’s Haven is the first fan fiction show that Phoebe has worked on, where she edits every script produced for the series.
